- Developing the Four Quadrants business model framework in conjunction with the Florida Philanthropic Network that is used in community foundation training programs across the U.S. and the globe.
- Designing and delivering professional development opportunities for the Conference for Growing Community Foundations, Indiana Philanthropy Alliance GIFT Initiative, AdNet, and conferences and workshops held by other regional associations of grantmakers and community foundation peer groups. In addition, team members Steve Alley and Helmer Ekstrom were both involved for a number of years in the Transatlantic Community Foundation Network.
- Developing the Express Training Videos and Certification Program for Community Foundations in partnership with the Kansas Association of Community Foundations.
- Developing content for, and teaching, the Community Foundations Boot Camp offered by the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance.
- Co-authoring Charitable Gifts of Noncash Assets, the comprehensive guide to philanthropic questions and illiquid donations for gift planners and professional advisors.
- Developing the online Community Foundation Family Philanthropy Readiness Self-Assessment and other community foundation programming for the National Center for Family Philanthropy.
- Authoring the 2008 Community Foundation Global Status Report for WINGS.
- Co-developing the National Marketing Action Team (NMAT) peer-learning group training curriculum for the Council on Foundations
- Authoring Making the Commitment to Family Philanthropy: A Management Tool for Community Foundations for the National Center for Family Philanthropy.
- Leading the former Community Foundations Institute of the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. The Institute created the first training courses for community foundation staff and board members. Those courses are now run by the Council on Foundations.
- Volunteer leadership of community foundation peer groups and other philanthropic associations at the local, state, national, and international level.
